yeah i was away for a long time.

now i promise to be more regular.

in the last blog i spoke about the sea of poppies by amitav ghosh. i finished it. actually what i found out that ( that's my opinion) we have to wait till the trilogy is completed top make any comments. but this novel has a lot of connection with my research interest. here identity is so fluid, people are taking up and leaving away identities as if they are changing garb. it will also read difficult to many as there is so much of the sailor's lingo. go through it and find out for yourselves.

bye the way have any one of you read amartya sen's identity and violence. just go through it my friends. every word of that book is thought provoking. everyone must read it especially in this turmoiled times.

what is going on today? just can't understand why are people getting so angry nowadays. yes times are testing. there's is the spectre of financial crisis and safety is not to be found anywhere. still we must not lose hope. shelley so prophetically declared can spring be far behind or as in the latest hindi chartbuster 'aditi' savera phir hota hai'. don't lose heart all this will pass. i have experienced these things myself. so i am saying this.
